4th of July Recap

Just a quick update: I did indeed make the garlicky potato salad for July 4. I also made a corn and tomato salad. I got both recipes from Epicurious.com (see links below). The only change I made was to roast the corn instead of using it raw, as the recipe suggested. Oh, that guy ended up not making the French fish stew; he brought Swiss chard with raisins and pine nuts instead. It was really good and worked well with the grilled portabello mushroom sandwiches.
