Flatter than a...

Oy. I just tried baking a white chocolate/Kahlua cake for my Easter dinner tomorrow, and it's a complete disaster. My mistake was not trusting my instincts. When I read the recipe I thought, "That don't sound right--there's no leavening in the recipe, and the quantity doesn't sound like enough to make 2 cake layers." But I forged ahead anyway, and now I have a perfectly flat, rubbery, overly sweet (yes, I tasted it--wanna make something of it?) mess in my garbage can. Ugh. I'm just gonna make brownies for tomorrow and be done with it.
