Went to the Bronzeville Community Market today, where I scored one of the Zaleski & Horvath Market Cafe shopping bags. Isn't it handsome (despite the blurriness of the pictures?
I also got to meet the proprietors of the store, and we chatted about how we hope the store will be an asset to a neighborhood that desperately needs a source of good food. They said that the store is set to open next month, barring any more hurdles thrown up by the city. I've got my fingers crossed for them!
