It's a New Year, so I Tried a New Recipe

I know I've said this (many times) before, but I'll say it again: do yourself a favor and buy a copy of Mark Bittmann's "How to Cook Everything." I just tried his recipe for lamb curry for the first time, and it's brilliant. I didn't make any modifications. It's perfect just the way it is. Also, his recipe for buttermilk biscuits is the best I've ever tried, and I come from a long line of Southern cooks who pride themselves on making great biscuits. Hmmmm.... Maybe I'll make biscuits and gravy for dinner tonight.
