OK, so I changed my mind. I decided to make 2 spice pound cakes instead of cookies. It's really hot today, and my air conditioner is running non-stop, so I decided that cakes would be better than multiple batches of cookies, because it would mean opening the oven less. Pound cakes are easy to wrap up and transport, too. They're dense and can take a lot of dinging before they fall apart. They smelled amazing while they were baking. I may have to sneak a small piece tonight.
