So, I decided to make braised beef and veggies for the potluck, along with tomato risotto, a cheese pizza (cut into small pieces as an appetizer), and the rum cake. I also got amibitous yesterday and made fudge. I cleaned the house like crazy yesterday so it looks nice and presentable. Today I'm going to relax until it's time to start cooking again. Oh, the one thorn in my side is that the buzzer on my door isn't working. I found out yesterday when the Peapod guy came to deliver my groceries. I'm going to have to post a sign down there telling people not to close the door completely. Otherwise, I'll end up running up and down 2 flights of stairs all night long. It's always something....
