Only 2 people accepted the invitation for the white elephant party tonight. I guess no one else thinks an exchange of joke gifts is fun. Whatever--it's their loss. Anyway, since both of the people who accepted are also knitters, I decided that I'll cook dinner for the 3 of us, and then we can sit on my couch, drink wine, and knit under the influence. I'm going to make mushroom lasagna and chocolate mousse. One gal is bringing a baguette, and the other is bringing wine. It should be a nice, relaxing evening.
