Sorry for the long gap between posts, Faithful Readers. Things in my life were topsy-turvy for a while, what with traveling, starting a new job, and being sicker than a dog for an entire week with a nasty stomach virus. I'm still not 100% well, but I'm happy to report that my appetite is back just in time for the summer farmers' markets. Next week I plan to hit Daley Plaza on Thursday and Green City on Saturday. I also found out that there are now three neighborhood markets near me: Hyde Park (52nd and Harper) on Thursdays, Woodlawn (61st and Blackstone) on Saturdays, and Bronzeville (44th and Cottage Grove) on Sundays. Happy dance! I plan to eat very well this summer, my friends, and hope you can do the same.
