Everything appears to be ready for my annual potluck tomorrow. I've spent the week cleaning and decorating, and now all I have to do is make the rum cake. Tomorrow right before the party I'll make 2 pizzas, one meat and one vegetarian, and set out everything else. I used to do a lot of cooking for these things, but as I get older, I've tried to make it a bit easier on myself. And the whole point of a potluck is not for ME to feed everyone but for all of us to share something, which is kind of what the holidays are all about, non?
